Meet Dr. Gokul Bhanwath

Family Physician & Founder

Dr. Bhanwath brings over four decades of medical experience and compassionate care to his practice. A graduate of Bangalore University in India, he began his career in family medicine and volunteered with the Rural India Project, providing essential healthcare services to underserved communities.

In 1979, Dr. Bhanwath immigrated to Canada and pursued advanced medical training at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. His postgraduate education included pediatrics, surgery, family medicine, and general practice anesthesia.

After working in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Dr. Bhanwath moved to Prince George, British Columbia in 1985 where he established a successful family practice serving the community for over 25 years. He was an active staff member at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia and a founding member of the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC).

After relocating to Calgary in 2011, Dr. Bhanwath continued to serve patients through locum work in various clinics before opening his own clinic in January 2021.
